If you’re considering hiring a personal coach, I’d be happy to talk with you—I may have room to add you to my roster. We start with an initial consultation, ideally in person, to make sure we’re compatible. If not, there’s no charge, and I’ll try to help you find a coach who’s the right match for you. If we click, we move on to a review of your training, racing, and medical history; a skills and equipment assessment; and, naturally, a check of your flexibility, before setting goals for our work together.

One-time start-up fee: $250

Then, you can choose to pay up front for:

One quarter (three months): $1000
One half year (six months): $1900
One full year (twelve months): $3600

Note that I offer only one option: full service. No canned plans here. For your investment in yourself, you’ll get an individualized training plan (including workouts, yoga/Pilates, and meditation/mental training) created just for you, with your plan tailored and updated weekly on TrainingPeaks.com, and we’ll have as much communication as you want: call me, write me, come have a beer on the porch with me.

I welcome the opportunity to talk to you about your goals. I work with athletes at all levels, from beginners to first-time-marathoners to former collegiate athletes. Some of my clients train with power meters, fancy GPS-based heart rate monitors, and high-end bikes; some work purely on perceived exertion and ride entry-level bikes or don’t ride at all. The rest fall somewhere in between. The important thing is that our styles mesh and that we communicate well.

My athletes who live nearby periodically join me for informal group workouts, especially rides and open-water swims. If you’d like even more in-person attention, I also offer one-on-one coaching, training, yoga, and/or mat Pilates. We can review your form in sports or yoga, come up with fun new exercises to strengthen your core, or sketch out a season’s plan for you.
