There is not only one way to teach yoga for athletes. I simply teach yoga, presented in ways that make it accessible to athletes. Here are some other approaches to the topic by my students, friends, and colleagues. Enjoy your exploration!

Chuck Naughton
Chuck, who lives in Illinois, has studied extensively with Ed Harrold and at Kripalu. His interest is in yoga for athletes over 50—a growing segment of the population—and in ultra events, especially cycling, in which he has decades of impressive experience.

Karen Dubs

Barry Ennis
Barry is a great guy who's been practicing yoga since eighth grade. He's also had a long career in baseball through the postcollegiate level. Now he works with the Dodgers and teaches yoga in Los Angeles. Whether you play ball or another sport, visit him when you're in L.A.

Laura Kupperman
Laura is a Professional Yoga Therapist and yoga instructor in Boulder, Colorado. She has taught Yoga for Athletes classes to runners and cyclists, and now offers open group classes at studios in town. Laura also works privately with athletes recovering from injury or surgery. Laura is an avid snowboarder, hiker, and aspiring slackliner.
