Scheduled: Sequencing Yoga Classes from Welcome to Namaste at Kripalu

The Berkshires will be beautiful with fall color in September—meet me there at the wonderful Kripalu Center Sunday, September 21–Friday, September 26, and we’ll explore sequencing yoga classes from the first hello to the final namaste. This five-day intensive is perfect for movement teachers from any style or school—you’ll leave with a notebook (or file) full of brilliant sequences to help students of any level or background feel fantastic and balanced.

If you can’t make it to Kripalu, this course is available online anytime!

YOGA STILL 2
For yoga teachers from all traditions.

Do you feel uninspired or intimidated when you face a room of students, despite your love for yoga practice? Does your creativity freeze up when you need to modify on the fly? This workshop for teachers from any tradition offers concrete techniques to craft, teach, and reflect upon sequences to keep your students safe, healthy, and inspired.

Using a framework that makes modification and creative approaches easy and natural, you

  • Design sequences for every portion of an asana class
  • Learn tools to structure balanced, fulfilling, and inspiring sequences
  • Explore kriya and krama to teach all levels
  • Develop helpful transitions between poses
  • Sharpen your language
  • Find your best approaches to modeling and assisting.

Each day includes asana practice, discussion, workbook exercises, and collaboration. Leave with a full list of sequences that you can begin using in your classes immediately, and the framework to continue designing fun, useful classes.
