The Ride of Silence

My teammates Michael Babbit and JoAnna Younts have organized a Chapel Hill–Carrboro Ride of Silence, as part of a national event in honor of cyclists who’ve been injured or killed by motor vehicles. It’s a slow (12 mph), silent, eight-mile ride, leaving from McDougle Middle School at 7 p.m. next Wednesday, May 17. Totally free, no fundraising, just to increase awareness of cyclists’ right to share the road.
